Hey everyone, it's me w/ another enticing discussion of our fav, lol...

Well I was thinking, when K.H dropped, I actually was surprised.  I thought the album

would be different.  With songs like August Moon, Free Ride, Anchors Away, etc...
I expected the album to have a more pop/rock edge.  But we saw something else.

So for album # 3, what are your thoughts...?   Will it come out in 2012?  What direction?

What type of songs?  Etc?  What do we want to hear of Sara?  Just food for thought.

P.S.:  Might sound crazy... but to you who have her contact info...  Could someone ask if

she'd ever be interested in looking back & re-recording one of her old tracks as maybe an

itunes exclusive or something?  I think "Undertow" would sound awesome w/ a Basie type jazz

band behind it.  Then again, if I had it... I'd pay to her to re-record every song I liked, lol.

Athem, anyone know Bill Gates?

Well.... that question is hard to answer. I have a feeling she might do a little bit more exploring with sounds. I have the feeling she's not the type to stick to a single sound. I mean.... the sounds on Kh and LV are really different. I would love to see her make another LV with her new songwriting ability. KH really upped how well she writes..... really noticeable. I must say that for some reason I kinda prefer the old SAra (kinda hate saying this ). WEll... wait... it's not old Sara.... it's her old style. I like the Between the Lines thing with the christmas lights and lamps..... so simple and beautiful. And I was kinda missing her jazzy soul sound on this album. :) Not Alone got a few plays as a result.

I would also like to see her be a little more producer-esque with her music. In the webisodes, she seems to be, and I think it would be coo if she produced one of her major label albums. :) Who knows where she's going.... wherever it is, I hope she gets off there somewhat soon. :)

Well, I think I better wait to see what's next... but I love the way she left the door open for bittersweet in the future with this... though maybe was just being Sara.

Wow, that is amazing.  I doubt she'll re-record it for her 3rd album.

But as maybe a bonus track or an exclusive, I could see that.

btw, surprised she didn't nod at the fact is was on the Ep The Summer Sessions.

I'll bet you that she doesn't even remember that, lol!

idk, lol... I mean, I can understand about not wanting to look back; to just keep moving forward.  But I'd hope she can atleast remember her past.

Actually I've just tweeted something about her older songs. Hope she sees it ;). Maybe it will remind her that we also love her older stuff like Bittersweet for instance.
I would love an EP of re-recorded old tracks.

I'd love for Sara to an album with only Sonos as backup.  It'd be really unique, and it'd give a big boost to a capella music.  She's worked with Sonos before, and they have a really creative sound that goes beyond what a lot of other a capella groups do.

that'd be cool.  after i watched the most recent episode i went back and listened to 'i want you back' from awaken like 30 times lol.

pentatonix and afro blue are my favorites though :)

The thing is, no matter what direction Sara goes in, she succeeds haha.

Little Voice was more of a cohesive album, had a similar style.

Kaleidoscope Heart was more versatile, yet succeeded in every style.

In terms of the next album, no clue, other than it will be at least 2013 likely.

For the EP, and for going back and recording old songs, we talked a little bit about that after one of her recent shows.  I expressed my love for the song Little Voice and wondered if it'd ever be recorded.  She said she'd thought of doing a live or stripped down EP of some of the older songs and ones that hadn't been recorded, and also mentioned that it could even show up on the EP she's doing with Ben.  We'll just have to wait and see :P
