Meeting Sara after a concert???

So there is a good chance I'm going to see Sara in philly on the 4th of july this year! This will be my first Sara Bareilles concert, and I have read more than once now that if you wait by her bus after the show she will meet fans?! Does anyone have tips about meeting her?

You first Sara B show ? Awesome! Have fun Jennifer, you'll see, she is amazing live! The show in Philly is the one with the Roots ? It should be fun!

Anyway, about meeting sara after a concert, it's always hard to give advice because it depends on the venue, the security and all that stuff. What I know is that Sara loves meeting fans after her shows and I think she does it everytime (when the security is okay with that). So the best thing to do is to find her tour bus, and to wait. For instance, I waited about 45 minutes after the show, next to the bus, to finally meet her. But it was a pretty small venue so it was easier.

I really hope that you'll be able to meet her, she is so nice :)

thanks! and yeah its my first concert! i knew who she was but not until this year did I truly become a huge fan :)and yeah im nervous about how big it is, but i'm hoping since she not the main act that it might be easier? maybe? i dont know im not holding my breath, but i would really like to meet her!!!

Good luck! since its a 4th of july event it may be harder... there may be a lot of people there.  I tried to meet her last weekend after the show and security wouldn't let me.  I actually think that because she wasn't the "main act" of the evening is the reason I couldn't see her.  It was like "Sugarland rules".... Even when i went to give her my poster to sign when she was on stage the security yelled at me to "stay back" ( as if I was going to jump over the fence lol- im NOT THAT CRAZY!) and they took the poster from me as I tried handed it to her as if they had to be the "between person".  I thought that was kind of rude- but I guess they were just doing their job.    Good luck! if you get to meet her afterwards let us know how it went! =)

It sucks that its security that wont let fans meet Sara, b/c from everything i heard like Clement said she loves meeting fans! and i read the thing about your poster! thats so awesome !!! and trust me i will let you guys know if i meet her :)  seeing sara live is pretty sweet in itself, if i get to meet her it  will be icing on the cake :)

maybe youll get lucky! because she does meet her fans and is happy to do it! I met her after her show last year- I waited by the bus and after 1.5hr she came out! there were about 7 of us waiting

Hey Jen! Well, the concert I attended was in a small venue and Sara was the main act. I arrived there early enough to see where the tour bus was, so when the concert was over I headed straight to the tour bus and waited for about 40 mins. Good luck, I hope you get to meet her! :)

oh sorry i meant to go back to this! and no luck. there were so many people, and where the buses were everything was blocked off, deff will try again though at some point =)

I know this is a little outdated.... but lol... I'm going to see her in December. First show too! :) Ummm.... The venue is for 4000 (I was kinda shocked, but it's LA), but I am hoping that they somehow limite the capacity to less than that. :) But anyway.... does anyone think I'll get to meet her. It would make my life so muchmuchmuch more amazing to meet her! She is headlining, so that, for one, ups the chances a little... but the venue size worries me... Idk... I won't truly know until I actually get to the show.. but anyone? Tips, advice, input?

Tips:
1. Get there early

2. Find me ('cause I might go:D)

3. Look for her bus before going in

4. Enjoy the show

5. Make a poster that says something about wanting to meet her

6. Go back to her bus after the show

7. WAIT.

haha... I don't know how early I can get there. Do you think there'll be any way to reserve a spot? I would like to get a spot, leave and eat, and then come back and enjoy the show! :) But I don't know... So I might just bag getting a great spot (cause I could if I skipped eating anything all day lol) and just suck it up... haha... We'll meet up and go prowling for her bus. :) And I don't know if I'll have time to make a poster.... haha.... I don't even know what I would say! lol :) Also, do you know if there's a way to contact the Palladim to see if one can reserve a seat, leave the venue, and then come back to that seat? Or rather.... haha... a standing area... :)
