PROJECT: a future gift for Sara...

Sara B Confessions/ dear photograph:

This will be an on-going project that will last over time I don't have a specific "due date" because we are not sure when Sara will be on tour again.  I am going to create a book for sara from SaraBfans.  The book will be a combination of two creative ideas.  Have you ever heard of postsecret.com or dearphotograph.com? 

PART 1:

A Sarabfan created a tumblr account called http://sarabconfessions.tumblr.com/ which describes exactly what we need for the "post secret" section of the book. Comment below with your "confession" and if you have a specific photo you want used post it with your confession (otherwise we will chose the photo for you)  

** if you want your photo/confession to be displayed on the tumblr account make sure to note next to your confession that you want it on there - my only concern is that Sara might eventually see the tumblr account so it won't be much of a surprise when she gets the book- so keep that in mind.**

- also - if you already contributed to the tumblr blog let us know and we'll put your confession into the book!

PART 2:

Go to dearphotograph.com and look at what people have sent in to that website to have an idea of what to do.  I need you to find a photograph that is a memory of you and sara and you have to take a picture of that photograph held in the exact same spot.  My explanation might not make sense so go to dearphotograph.com to see what I am talking about. (For example, maybe you have a photo of yourself sitting outside of the venue.  Go back to that venue on a day when no one is standing there, take your photograph and hold it up to that exact spot and take a picture of it. Then write a one or two line caption for it.... if u have never been to a sara show u can still participate! be creative! maybe you have a photo of yourself filming the fan video- use that... and go to the spot u filmed it in...) *attach your photo and write your caption below.

The plan is to give this book to sara during her next tour, so it may not be for awhile.  we will continue to collect confessions and dear photographs until then and I am hoping to have a good collection of them for the book which will be titled "Sara Bareilles Confessions"

"Recently, I saw Sara perform alongside the only person that I'd ever been able to relate to her song Gravity.  As I eventually left to head home, I just accepted that I'd have to meet her another night.  An hour later I get a picture message saying that happened to see her, and all he had time to say was how incredible her Gravity cover was."

I am making the book... ive been working on it... you can tell me your confession and send me a photo if you think there is one that goes well.  Otherwise I'll choose a photo to use
