Sara's last concert, San Francisco

Hey guys, so I was wondering, who is going to Sara's last concert of this tour? It's on December 10 in San Francisco.

 

I'm asking because I'm trying to see if I can go. My only problem is....well... I live in Houston. Sara didn't have a show in Texas and I was really disappointed. My original plan was to go to show in Tulsa, which turned out to be epic since it was the first show after the stage collapse in Indy. But i didn't have enough money for the hotel/gas so i ended up wasting my ticket.

 

Anyway, I would have to see if school is not going to get on the way, but I would love to go to this concert mainly because it's the last one of the tour and partly because I'm dying to see San Francisco. But i wouldn't like to go alone! So, who's going?

i've always wanted to go to california also...  but i probably couldn't afford it

Well.. Honestly, I thought about flying to San Francisco for this show. It's a Saturday so I could have done it. But just like Jen, I couldn't afford it. Maybe next time. But I do hope you'll attend the show. I'm sure it will be amazing. I think Joshua Radin is the opening act and I love his music too.

Heyyy I think I might be going to the gig in SF but I dont think I will know until last minute :(  I live in AZ, but the bay is my 2nd home so naturally I will be there for the holiday.. BUT also some of my girls might drive from AZ to LA for that show. its like a 5 hour drive. Maybe 6 if you want to join. But probably from LA i'll be flying up to SF the next day to go home then to possibly maybbeeee go to that show. 

 

how far is houston from phx?

I'm hopefully gonna go to the LA show at the Palladium but, it's still in question. ):

I don't think my parents are gonna be taking me for a while so I'd have to hook a ride with a friend and her parents and yeah. So, I'm working on it. Haha. At the moment, I have two friends who may also be going and may be able to take me but they're still in the works of asking/BEGGING their parents. (x

well, Jen and Clement, it's not like I have any money either, hahaha. I was actually planning on topping up my credit card in order to go! But like I said, I don't wanna go alone. And I rather go to the show in San Francisco because it is the very last one, buy hey, the one in L. A. might work.

 

Krystie, I don't know how far is Houston from Phoenix, but it is a TWENTY-FIVE hour drive to L. A. so naturally, I would fly there.

I'd like to know if anyone is going for sure to the SF gig so I wouldn't go alone and possibly so I could get a ride to the concert from my hotel or so they could give me some indication as to where it would be best for me to stay (not a nasty ass motel but not a five star luxury one either, something affordable and clean, or if they'd like to save me the money and let me crash their couch hahhahaha).

@christina - Man I was going to say , if i knew for sure if we were atleast going to the LA show you could fly to AZ and then you can drive with us to the hollywood gig and we were just planning on crashing kinda near the venue within 3 miles. so we could walk or drive. 

 

also if i go to the SF show , I will gladly let you stay at my house and then we could take a train to the city (sf) in the afternoon and then go to the show at night. But i just wont know yet if i'm going to be home. my goal is to fly home on the 9th. :( 

 

also, if you will be in SF , you might want to look for a place to stay over night possibly on POST st.  that is really close to the venue. Just try and stay NORTH of the venue. don't go south of it, thats kind of a shitty area you wont want to be strollin around down there by yourself.  :)

Well, that's cool. I'd appreciate it if you would let me know if you are going and which one you decide to go to. I'm not going to buy my ticket yet. I'll wait to see until I know for sure I won't be going around L.A. or San Francisco by myself. I'm not that brave, lol.

I'd like to go to the LA or san fran show it doesnt really matter but i also live really far away and don't know how i feel about flying alone from boston to california...i feel the same way tho if i knew for sure someone else was going i would do it too! i don't have a ton of money but i'm not really concerned b/c it would be so worth it!

I don't mind the flight by myself. It's just moving around a strange city on my own that worries me. But yeah, if you go, then we can meet up before the concert or something.

I'm definitely going to the show and I live here in the Bay Area, so I can give you tips on where to stay and such. Clement how much are tickets from Paris?  Maybe we could fundraise for you to come?  I'd be willing to pitch I something. You've done so much for us all building this community. Would love for you to see the shoe in SF.

Thank you Rose, I really appreciate it. But I think it's just too expensive for me. Direct flights are at 2700$...

There are flights at 900$ or something, but it takes 17/25 hours... And I have work on December 9th so I don't think it would be possible. I'll think about it though, and see what I can do.
