Sarabfans Reunion - San Francisco show
I am on my iPhone right now but I couldn't wait to tell you all what happened yesterday.
First, my flight was an hour late so I was freaking out! We were supposed to be at the venue at 3:15pm to watch soundcheck.
I finally made it thanks to Michael who picked me up at the airport. (thank you so much again!).
I then met all the sarabfans very quickly and we went into the venue.
Sara and the band were rehearsing and she waved at us. wow.
Soundcheck was great. Sara wanted to rest her voice but she did sing Love is Christmas 3 times in a row with her sister.
And then. MEET & GREET.
We were all very excited. We all got a few minutes to talk to Sara, take a picture and ask her to sign something.
She was SO sweet. She kept saying how much she appreciated the support.
She asked me when my flight landed and if I was tired (i was exhausted).
We gave her the gifts we had prepared (a t shirt, a bracelet and a fake grammy) and she loved them. She really did.
Then we talked to the band members too.
Unfortunately I didn't get to talk to Javier because people kept saying that we got to move. I just got a picture.
Josh is the bomb. That is all.
Then we went to starbucks and just hang out.
We went back to the venue and gave signs to everyone waiting in the line.
We were allowed to come in the venue before everybody. VIP. No big deal.
So we were at the very front.
The show was AMAZING. Seriously, it was unbelievable.
Sara was awesome and the new song is RAD !!
The surprise really worked out! Sara was really surprised and she cried.
She even said "did the sarabfans do that?". Of course! Who else ?
So yeah. Best night ever. And i'm sure i forgot many things.
Like she said that some people were coming from foreign countries... She also spoke French a little during the show. "comment?" :-).
I will upload photos and videos soon. I'm sure the other sarabfans will too.
so yeah.... WOW. :-)

man, even though i've met her twice, i'm STILL JEALOUS. that sounds like such a fantastic time! i missed out, can someone tell me what the surprise that made Sara cry was?!

We hold up signs (we gave a sign to like.. Maybe 200 people) and sang Happy Birthday. It was amazing.
And meeting you all was soooo great. You guys are awesome, I had so much fun!! :)

awww that's SO sweet. i wish i could've been there to support! i'm glad you had such a great time, she must feel so loved knowing you and so many others flew in from different states and countries just to see her :) her shows are always incredible!

I'm so glad the audience participated! I've seen Sara 4 times now (once opening for Sugarland), and this was the loudest (in a good way) crowd yet! Of course, it was the largest venue she's played, but my ears were ringing with how loudly everyone cheered for Sara. We just want her to feel the love, and she did :)

yeah, I agree :). The venue was great, the crowd was amazing.
It was very different from the last show I have seen, since she was opening for Maroon 5. Most of the people came to see Maroon 5, you know. This time, everybody was here for Sara, and there was so much love in the room. Amazing show.
