Excitement, pure and simple. A little pride too. And China.

The hype is building up, and I'm EXCITED!

There's the Kaleidoscope Heart release in September, the King of Anything music video release, the growing amount of publicity that Sara's receiving (touring radio stations, VH1 Featured Artist, iTunes sales and pre-orders, interviews with magazines and TV shows), this community's own music video, Sara's webisodes on YouTube that give us juicy bits of the mastered songs, and even some full songs from the new record (Uncharted and Hold My Heart, thanks to William).

I'm already twitching in anticipation and excitement and I haven't even watched a video or checked out the photo gallery since June 25th! Of course, I'll catch up on all interview, performance, and music videos when I return to Canada on the 18th.

Now for the warm fuzzy part.

I am SO PROUD of both Sara and also this community! This may sound ridiculous coming from a guy that's only been a fan since Love Song, and didn't even participate in the video project, but I can't really help it! Sara is doing big things, and seems more confident than ever before. And she should be! After all, she's already got plenty of experience from Little Voice. The community is quickly gaining new members, thanks to Sara's tweet about the King of Anything music video you guys made.

I KNOW that Sara's gonna make it big with Kaleidoscope Heart. The songs I've already heard from it (Uncharted, King of Anything, Hold My Heart, Gonna Get Over You) are fantastic, and are definitely a step up from Little Voice. Money and fame are coming her way once again!

I KNOW that this community will grow. Sara will gain new fans because of Kaleidoscope Heart, and surely some will find their way to this website and join the community. Clement's found a web design job, and hopefully he'll gain new skills that will allow him to make the site even better, alongside John and Josi.

I feel like a father watching his children grow up and establish themselves in the world! Again, sounds stupid, as I've hardly fathered anything here, but hey! This is how I feel. I'll probably cry if Sara ends up winning a Grammy :P

Can't wait to return to Canada and check out new photos and videos!

Oh yeah, almost forgot to type up some stuff about China.

My family and I are here for 3 weeks visiting family. Mom and Dad and I are actually the only ones of our family that decided to emigrate, so we visit China every 4 years to keep in touch. Mom's side is in Beijing, the capital city, and Dad's side is in the south-west.

It's hot, cramped, the traffic is crazy, the food is absolutely delicious, and family are all happy and healthy. And this computer actually works, unlike most others in the country :P

WOW. What an awesome blog post ! =) So great to read your excitement and happiness ! I'm glad you're enjoying your trip in China. I'm also really excited about all the new promo and music ! Indeed, Sara seems to be more confident, and that's good. She's not afraid to take risks or try new experiences anymore.

You've written almost all the feelings I have these days about Sara :). This new album is going to be AWESOME !! :D

Thanks Svizarra, talk to you on July 18th ;)
